HELPERS NEEDED PLEASE
ANNUAL CHEESE ROLL FUNDRAISER
Hello members,
The day to start making cheese rolls is fast approaching, and your help would be greatly appreciated. This fundraiser is one of the major money earners for the club. The only way to pull this off is with your assistance. Please consider how you can help from the following list:
1. Orders - Firstly, we appreciate all your efforts to sell cheese rolls. It would be awesome to beat last year's efforts of 40,00 cheese rolls. A reminder also that order forms need to be handed into Alissa no later than 3pm on Tuesday 14th of June 2022.
2. Tarpaulins - Cheese roll making is a messy job, so we need as many tarpaulins as we can get to cover the entire floor area of the clubhouse. If you would like to loan us your tarpaulin, please name and leave it in ladies locker room (out back in the toilet area)
3. Paper supermarket bags - These are needed to pack orders in so the more we can get our hands on the better. These can also be left in the ladies changing room or with Alissa in the proshop.
4. Trays - wooden or plastic trays are needed to make and carry cheese rolls. If you have any that you wish to lend us, please name them and leave them upstairs or with Alissa in the proshop.
5. Bread Carriers - Each day bread will be delivered to the club at 7.30ish (t.b.c.) and it needs to be carried upstairs (Perfect job for people to do before they head to work) - approx 8 people required
6. Morning Tea, & Lunch - It is a long two-day process that will require some yummy food to keep us on our A-game. If you can contribute by making the food we will happily accept slices, toasties, soup, sandwiches, scones, or anything to keep the workers well-fed.
MOST IMPORTANTLY
7. YOUR HELPING HANDS on Wednesday 22nd/Thursday 23rd 'MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHTER WORK' - encourage family, friends, and neighbors to come and help even if only for an hour or two.
Likewise 'workers' if you could assist through your lunch break or even after working hours as we will most likely still be going after 4.30pm then that would be a major help. This will help ease the pressure on all helpers and ensure people don't have to work 7a.m. - 7 p.m.
This isn't just any old fundraiser, it's a great way to come together, laugh, and enjoy each other's company while eating great food and generating some much-needed cash for the club. JOIN IN - THIS IS EXCELLENT FOR CLUB SPIRIT - PUT YOUR NAME ON THE WHITEBOARD OR LET ALISSA KNOW IF YOU ARE HAPPY TO HELP.
Lastly, we want to try and beat or match last year's results which was a sensational profit of $10,000 having made 40,000 cheese rolls 😁😁
